I met DJ Iron Lyon in 2002 while we worked together at Triple 5 Soul’s flagship SOHO store on Lafayette St. He was already a solid DJ making moves in the downtown NYC area. When he told me of his decision to relocate to South Beach, Miami, I thought he was crazy. I was completely wrong, lol. He quickly became a standard DJ around the Miami night life scene. I started creating monthly “Line Ups” for his DJ schedule, which was usually everyday of the month sometimes multiple sets at different clubs in one night.
